Kangaroo Mother Care: 20 years later, and beyond

Congress

 

Venue: Teatro Miela, Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi 3, Trieste

Expected participants (capacity): 250 (300)

Target audience: whoever is interested in Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC)

Invited: WHO, UNICEF, major NGOs and foundations working in this area

 

Objective:

To review the progress in KMC research and development worldwide, sharing best practices and identifying barriers, challenges and enablers to dissemination and success.

 

Expected outcomes:

Dissemination of research and development results through participants and KMC websites in order to enhance programmes in terms of coverage and quality.

 

Awards:

Congress participants will be asked to express their vote for presentations and posters they value as best. The organisers will offer a simple “KMC 20 years later” award to the winners.
